Kyra Scheurer – Dramaturgin

Films entertain, broaden horizons, set topics, touch and create unique visual worlds. As a dramaturge, Kyra Scheurer helps to find the very own narrative style for each individual story – whether documentary or fictional – and to fully explore its potential. After studying Communication Science and Psychology (M.A.) at the Freie Universität Berlin, she primarily works as a film dramaturge. Her work focuses on literary adaptation, debut projects and documentaries. In addition to dramaturgical project support, she also specializes in targeted consulting for film beginnings and endings as well as montage feedback. Kyra Scheurer is also artistic director of the montage festival “Edimotion” and deputy chairwoman of the Association for Film and Television Dramaturgy (VeDRA).
