Call for Applications: 5th Film Network Pitch @ achtung berlin – new berlin film award

It’s about that time again: From now on and until March 20th, as a Film Network member you can apply to participate in the 5th Film Network Pitch, which will take place in cooperation with the achtung berlin – new berlin film award on Friday, April 22nd, 2022.

We are excited to receive your applications and look forward to seeing you there!

We welcome projects from the fields of feature, short, animation, documentary and series for all platforms that are currently in the stage of development to production.

The Film Network Pitch is a showcase for film talents from Berlin. During the industry days of the achtung berlin film festival, a selection of Berlin screenwriters, directors and producers present their film projects to an professional audience and receive professional feedback afterwards.

For the participants, the pitch offers a platform to find partners for their project, to get feedback from experts in the fields of production, TV and distribution, and to discuss financing and distribution strategies. In preparation, the participants take part in a pitch training.

The pitch will presumably take place in presence and in compliance with the current COVID-19 regulations.

To apply, please send us the completed application form, a CV including your filmography (max. 2 pages) and a project outline (max. 2 pages) in a bundled PDF to info@filmnetzwerk-berlin.de by March 20th, 2022.

The application is only open to Film Network members. Participation in the pitch and the pitch training is free of charge. Both events will be held bilingually in German and English. Therefore, applications can be submitted in German or English language. For the pitch training, basic knowledge of German and English is required. Student projects are excluded from participating.
