DANIEL HAINGARTNER (*1984) lives and works as a freelance film/theatre producer, author and musician in Vienna and Berlin. Studied culture and social anthropology in Vienna with a focus on the transmission of science via new media. Visiting semester at the University of Economy Vienna and the University of Fine Arts.

Worked as director/author/producer on various short/long films and theatre productions. Most recently with the cinema documentary “Anomalie” by Richard Wilhelmer and the short film “DERP GIRL” by Olivia Stubbe. At the moment I am working on my next feature film with the title “Self”.

At the core of my work lies the attempt to deal with scientific questions in an artistic way. In doing so, I deal with the phenomena of social transformation and the construction of reality and norms.
